Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist/ Advanced Practitioner Social Worker
Three month secondment opportunity for an experienced Social worker or Occupational therapist as ASWP/SP OT in MIS.

Perhaps you would like to develop your people management and supervisory skills, but don’t have the opportunity in your current role? As part of the Maximising Independence Service Mid (covering Mansfield & Ashfield) you can do all of this, with the support of fellow seniors and Team manager.
The Maximising Independence Service (MIS) is a service area in the Adult Social Care department, which is focused on early resolution, prevention and promoting independence and well-being. The service embeds a Strength Based Approach in everyday practice in line with the departments Adult Social Care Strategy and the Care Act 2014. The aim of the service is to help people to maximise their independence as much as possible by providing information, advice, and guidance, setting short-term goals, and identifying support to achieve those goals.
You will need to have a Occupational Therapy qualification, registered with HCPC or a Social Work qualification registered with Social Work England. You will also be an Approved Adult Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) or an Approved Mental Capacity Professional (AMCP), or a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) or Practice Educator (Level 1) or have evidence of relevant post graduate study.

In return, you will receive ongoing training and coaching, regular supervision, annual development appraisals alongside the support of a highly skilled team. You will be provided with appropriate technology and access to work remotely.
