After 17 years of service, our wonderful Headteacher is retiring. This creates a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced individual to take over the leadership at our ‘Good’ rated generic special school.

The Governing Body wish to appoint an inspiring individual with the confidence and capability to build on our school’s legacy. We are looking for someone who shares our vision, values, passion and who understands what is needed to effective in our unique setting. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and accomplished leader, who can lead by example, motivate and is a highly visible presence and whose values-based leadership promotes positivity, community and excellence in all they do. 

Applications are welcome from existing Headteachers and experienced Deputy Headteachers who share our values.

With 170 pupils aged 3-18 spread over 21 classrooms in our newly rebuilt school. We are lucky enough to enjoy a wealth of modern facilities, including a sensory room, soft play room, immersion room, hydrotherapy pool and specialist curriculum rooms for DT, art, science and food tech.

Our school is situated in large, well maintained grounds on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Newark in Nottinghamshire, close to shops and major transport links and routes.

The school is proud of its very strong family feel, dedicated staff and governors.
