Governors are looking to appoint a motivated School Business Manager from Autumn 2019 or soon after to join the team of dedicated and hardworking staff. You will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will be responsible for the school budget, school fund, absence monitoring and personnel records, single central record and the submission of relevant data requested by outside agencies eg. LA, DFE.

Duties will also include responsibility for managing external funding and working alongside external agencies. This will include playing a major role in overseeing health and safety practice, income generation eg. seeking and preparation of bids/grants, devising marketing and promotion strategies, and managing procurement for the school.

Good knowledge of school management would be preferable. The School Business Manager will be responsible for the provision of relevant specialist advice and guidance to SLT and the Governing Body on national and local guidelines, policy and statute.

The post also includes responsibility for support staff and you will be expected to manage and develop these staff in order to ensure the smooth running of a small but busy school office and site.
