The New Bass START service is a high-performing, friendly and effective multidisciplinary team and is seeking a Reablement Manager to cover long term sickness for three months.

Reablement Managers are responsible for the operational management of the service in line with national and local standards and performance, and the line management of its large staff group.

Reablement Managers oversee all incoming work, the efficient and effective use of the e-scheduler, service user care standards, staff induction, training, and HR processes.

This role is vital in ensuring that this registered service meets the key standards required by the Care Quality Commission – being safe, responsive, effective, caring and well led.

This will be an excellent opportunity for any staff who wish to expand their existing social care skills and take on a temporary management role. Seconded candidates are welcome with the prior agreement of their current line manager.

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
