We are inviting applications for a Neighbourhood Coordinator in the Communities Team. If you are passionate about encouraging more people to become active citizens, taking responsibility for their own neighbourhoods and communities, supporting each other and helping make Nottinghamshire the welcoming, friendly place it is to live, the Communities Team and would like to hear from you.

Working as part of a small team you will support the delivery of the Council’s community and voluntary sector work, and its community safety responsibilities and its ambitions for supporting communities. The Team has significant roles to play in supporting the County Council to tackle the many challenges and opportunities facing our communities. To do this we want to hear from you if you can demonstrate that you can:

  • Bring Innovative and creative ways of thinking and approaches to supporting communities
  • Work to ensure more effective ways of partnership working and influencing stakeholders

To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication and liaison skills with the ability to develop and deliver on programmes of work as directed. Candidates will need to be able to work collaboratively within a mutually supportive team.
