Part Time Reablement Support Worker (5 posts)
Would you like the opportunity to support people to be independent in their own homes?
Nottinghamshire County Council S.T.A.R.T Team are currently recruiting and are seeking staff to provide short-term support to people living in their own homes. We require flexible staff who work well alone and as part of a team, to support and assist people over the age of 18 while they increase their confidence and independence in all aspects of personal care and daily living tasks. You will also liaise with a variety of staff including occupational therapists and community care officers to ensure individuals are given the chance to regain skills to live as independently as possible.
The service is provided 365 days a year from 7am to 10pm and operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off rolling shift pattern, daily hours of work will be between the hours of 7am and 10pm. This includes regular weekend, days, evenings, Bank Holiday and split shift working patterns. Depending on contracted hours.
Four posts are available with the following part time hours: 3 x 25 hours per week, 1 x 20 hours per week.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and access to a car for which mileage will be paid. Experience in social care is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
