Day Service Support Assistant (3 posts)
Based within Central Day Services you will be required at times to work across a district at different buildings.
There are three posts available:
1 x 22 hours at Ashfield Day Service
1 x 37 hours at Mansfield Day Service
1 x 29 hours at Mansfield Day Service
You will provide a wide range of day service activities and care to people attending our combined service bases.You will be enthusiastic and flexible and be able to work across all customer groups within a geographical area. You must be willing to drive/escort vehicles as required.
A social care qualification (equivalent to NVQ 2) is an essential requirement, as is the ability to offer person centred,inclusive support, which develops and maintains independence. You must be able to work effectively, both as a team member and on your own initiative and put into practice the Council's commitment to excellent customer care.
Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
