You will be based at Meadow House, Mansfield. Working within a busy School Admissions department. You will join a team of administrators handling and processing school admission, free school meal applications and queries for all children within the County. in addition you will be required to make and receive calls, input data, check and verify information and work as part of a team. You will be expected to work towards defined business standards and processes to ensure all information is administrated in line with the Admissions and Appeals code. You will also be expected to liaise with schools, other local authorities, NCC departments and parent/carers whilst handling and processing complex information within coordinated timeframes. You will have a responsibility to supervise the team and drive workflow to ensure team targets are achieved. In addition you will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to organise your own workload, be self-motivated to be able to work independently as required, have the ability to motivate others, excellent IT skills and have an understanding of safeguarding and data protection. This is a fixed term 3 month contract which will be reviewed during that time with a view to extend to 12 months. Secondment will be considered.
