Based within the Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START) at their CQC registered office at Lawn View House in Sutton in Ashfield.

This is an exciting secondment opportunity for an individual who seeks to develop their career. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside existing Reablement Managers to assist with the day to day operation of the service to develop your skills.

START works alongside the STIS team to form a multi disciplinary service consisting of Occupational Therapists, Community Care Officers, Peri Reablement Support Workers and Reablement Support Workers. The team works with people living in their own home to regain skills and build confidence to live as independently as possible; usually where an accident or illness has caused them to lose the ability to do the things at home that they used to do.

You Will: assist in the future development of reablement services, manage front line reablement staff, contribute to staff training and development, oversee the co-ordination and rostering of staff, sign off support plans and risk assessments to ensure compliance with CQC and Health and Safety standards, manage day to day operations, assist with complaint resolution and contribute to the monitoring of compliance with quality systems and performance measurement.

You may be required to participate in the On Call function out of hours, including Bank Holidays.
