£8.68 - £9.01 Per Hour. A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £9.00 per hour.

You must be self-motivated and willing to work both ends of the day 6.00 am until 8.00 am and 4.00 pm till 6.00 pm. These times may vary dependant on school activities, such as after school clubs. Working this split shift you will be a key holder and will be expected to deliver the full range of caretaking, maintenance, janitorial and cleaning duties for the benefit of the pupils, parents and staff.

You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills. You will be responsible for a designated cleaning area. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to working as you will be working across a given area and essentially we are looking for someone who is able to work upon their own initiative. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but ideally we are looking for someone with interest and a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to the school.
