Nottinghamshire County Council have a demanding but rewarding position for a highly professional Senior Procurement Officer. The post holder will be the lead on the procurement of goods and services across the Children, Families and Cultural Services Departments. Based within the procurement team at County Hall, you will be responsible for managing the tendering process for a number of high value and complex key services.

You will be required to manage the complete procurement process ensuring timescales are met and the tender process is in conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. You will also have up to date knowledge of the new Procurement Regulations under the new Procurement Act that is expected to go live from October 2024.

This post will suit an experienced and professional individual used to working on complex procurement projects ideally in the Public Sector. The candidate will be required to use the Councils e-tendering portal ProContract to run procurement projects and full training will be provided.

Please apply if you have the ability to concentrate on multiple complex projects at the same time, can think imaginatively on the best ways to procure services and have exceptional attention to detail.

Suitable candidates are required to have CIPS qualification or be working towards it.
