£9.18 - £9.55 per hour (A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £9.30 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £9.55 per hour)

St Michaels Environmental Education Centre is situated in the Hope Valley, we are looking to employ a cleaner/caretaker/caterer to work alongside an already strong team, to maintain the cleaning standards of the site with immediate effect.

The successful candidate will be required to work either between the hours 08:30-13:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and some weekends. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated cleaning area within the site. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture and window cleaning. You will also support the catering services on occasions and our other Centre Hagg Farm.

We are therefore looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment as part of a team of staff and able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Although the successful candidate will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
