Mobile School Chef
The “silver” accredited Food for Life, School Catering Service” has a vacancy for a Mobile School Chef to work in Academy and Primary Schools in the Ashfield area. Normal daily hours will be worked over the lunchtime period, in term time. The successful candidate will be able to drive and be a car owner with a clean driving license. Travel expenses will be paid.
We are looking for a highly-motivated, flexible and friendly person to work with the Catering Managers and their teams. The job involves preparing a variety of appetising meals every day, with the support of your catering team, using local produce and fresh ingredients. A proven ability of achieving challenging budget targets is essential, as is experience in marketing and promoting a high-quality catering service.
The post may also include serving pupils, washing up, bookwork/ordering, cleaning duties and the manual handling of tables and chairs.
