We are recruiting to a full time support worker position within the Day Service at Broxtowe. The post holder will be required to work across a district at different buildings, and therefore must be able to drive. you will develop support plans and deliver a wide range of day service activities and care to people attending our combined service bases. You will need to be able to effectively consult with customers and others in the delivery of services and be able to supervise, guide and support colleagues.

You need to be enthusiastic and flexible, and able to work within a geographical area. A social care qualification (equivalent to NVQ3) is an essential requirement, as is the ability to offer person centred, inclusive support, which develops and maintains independence. You must be able to work effectively, both as a team member and on your own initiative and put in to practice the councils commitment to excellent customer care.
