Temporary Social Workers in District Community Mental Health Teams (3 posts)

We are looking to recruit 3 social workers across the county to work within the District Mental Health Teams. The areas covered are Gedling, Rushcliffe and Broxtowe, Mansfield and Ashfield, Newark and Bassetlaw.

These posts are fixed term until the end of March 2020. The posts are funded in order to support the District teams in facilitating care and support for those service users leaving hospital. It will also include statutory work i.e. tribunals under the Mental Health Act, along with work under the Care Act, duty work, attending bed management meetings, safeguarding, preventative work and assessing for reablement.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, dynamic and creative individuals and who are able to respond effectively to the pressures and demands of the service. A significant level of knowledge and experience within the mental health arena would be advantageous for this role along with an understanding of resource availability and effective networking skills.
