A secondment opportunity until the end of March 2020 has arisen for an experienced Social Worker in the MASH (adults) Team.

We are looking for a Social Worker who enjoys working as part of a multi-agency team in a fast-paced environment, whilst supporting colleagues to make timely decisions to respond to safeguarding concerns and customer demand. You will join a friendly and established team whose emphasis is on making safeguarding personal and delivering a proportionate response to concerns raised about adults at risk.

This secondment is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to increase their existing skills and knowledge around the MASH processes and working with partner agencies. This experience will enhance your overall knowledge of Safeguarding processes within the remit of Nottinghamshire Adult Social Care and The Care Act 2014. It will also increase your ability to provide timely and proportionate decisions, respond to immediate risk and to consider alternative outcomes. Ultimately, this will provide valuable expertise in section 42 work for when you return to your substantive post.

In return for your commitment, we will provide a supportive team environment.

You must seek approval from your line manager prior to applying.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Team Manager Amanda Marsden on 01158042646 or email Amanda.marsden@nottscc.gov.uk
