Adult Social Care and Health

This is an exciting opportunity as we currently have 2 vacancies in the team for highly proficient ICT Technical Specialists with good business analysis skills to join the team responsible for developing, managing, and supporting the electronic social care recording system within the Adult Social Care Health Department. One position is full-time for 37 hours and the other is part-time for 28 hours.

Mosaic is an electronic case management system for both Children’s and Adult’s Social Care. Aspects of the software are configurable to enable specific and specialist workflow build and functionality. This system is critical in providing accessible, accurate and secure case records. It is used to support both day to day case management and provide information for the strategic management and planning for the department.

Following a recent System Health Check, we will be looking to deliver on recommendations received whilst also working closely with the Adults Transformation Team to deliver projects and associated savings and efficiencies.

The post holder(s) will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Adult Social Care and Health (Social Care) information systems, promoting their usage and successful integration into the working practices of the organisation.

It is essential that the successful candidate is proficient in software tools which automate or assist the development process and those which enable the user to create, populate and manipulate structures. Knowledge of Mosaic and the business of Adult’s Social Care are also essential.

As well as ICT skills the successful candidate will need to work creatively to problem solve, build and maintain successful relationships with colleagues from all disciplines and management levels. The candidate should have good presentation skills and be able to assimilate and interpret complex information under pressure.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
