Operations Assistant

St Michael’s Environmental Education Centre (StM), operated by Nottinghamshire County Council is looking for a new Operations Assistant. We are looking for someone with energy, drive and enthusiasm to join our busy team. The successful person will be familiar with working in a busy office and all that it entails. The duties will include; reception, using our financial systems, word processing, inputting budget figures, dealing with centre and cottage bookings, procurement and general office duties, including the administrative support for our first aid training offer. You will need to promote StM positively, have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships, and be prepared to contribute to the wider life of the team. The role will require supporting the catering and cleaning of the centre on occasions and getting involved with the general day to day operations of running a busy residential centre.

StM is a well-regarded residential centre which hosts visits for many schools from the Nottinghamshire area as well as other schools and groups. We are committed to supporting children, families and individuals, by helping them experience the great outdoors.
