A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within Catering, Facilities Management & County Enterprise Foods (CEF). We are looking to recruit a driven Team Manger to manage a dual-site food production and distribution business to provide the Countywide Meals at Home Service. You will manage a large production kitchen producing individual meals and multi-portion frozen meals for customers, partners, and schools and oversee the distribution logistics of the operation.

As manager, you will be responsible for £1 million budget and turnover of £4-6 million and be responsible for up to 70 staff.

As part of our service, we provide school food to thousands of children across Nottinghamshire. Additionally, we have a Facilities Management and Landscape Services team as part of our group. County Enterprise Foods have now joined this group.

CEF as a service, has been producing and delivering tasty and great value meals to our vulnerable community for over 30 years. Currently there are over 70 meals to choose from to suit all tastes. We are looking to you to develop this further – beyond the 30,000 meals a week that we currently prepare and deliver across the county.

As we move forward, we are looking to strengthen the relationship between schools catering and CEF, with CEF developing as our central production unit; in part to strategically support our school’s operation – and beyond.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about high quality standards and customer satisfaction and who has the vision and drive to make CEF on ongoing success and to build the schools catering partnership into a success story.

In addition to developing the core CEF service, you’ll have a thorough understanding of school food trends and school food legislation. Additionally, you will work closely with the schools catering management team responsible for delivering our vision across Nottinghamshire.

Vitally, you will develop a sound and productive working relationship with our newly appointed Food Development Manager in schools catering.

Together with the Food Development Manager, you will be the face of food development across our service.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
