The MASH is the first point of contact for all potential safeguarding concerns in relation to children and adults to enable decisions to be made at an early stage regarding the appropriate services required.

Representatives from Children’s and Adult's Social Care; Nottinghamshire Police; Nottinghamshire Probation; the Health Partnership Group; Early Help Services; Trading Standards and an Education Adviser are all based in the same building.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Team Manager to Children’s Social Care in the MASH. You will need to have a thorough working knowledge of relevant legislation and practice that underpins Child Protection work. You will need to have leadership skills as you will manage a team of qualified social workers and support staff in a multi-agency setting to ensure that the statutory needs of children for support and protection are met through the delivery of high-quality services. 

You will need to be registered with Social Work England and have a CQSW/Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent).

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave however there is a possibility it could be made permanent in the future.
