Do you have experience of leading finance teams within a Transactional/Shared Service Centre? As well as experience of financial systems implementation/upgrades and exploiting technology to drive service improvement?

The Business Services Centre provides a full range of financial and employee transactional services as well as the support and maintenance of a number of major business systems for example SAP, Civica Pay, eRecruitment, online DBS checks and Civica Universal Pension Administration system to Nottinghamshire County Council and a wide range of external clients.

As the Business Services Centre Finance Team Manager, reporting to the Group Manager Business Services Centre, you will lead and be responsible for the following financial teams –

·         Accounts Payable

·         Debt Recovery

·         Accounting and Income including bank reconciliation and VAT

All areas have been through considerable transformation and change over the last few years including review and redesign of business process, increased use of automation and elimination of duplication.

We are looking for someone who:

·         Has experience of working within a high compliance financial transactional environment.

·         Has an eye for detail and challenges current processes and systems to drive out savings and efficiencies.

·         Is proactive and motivated to lead the financial transactional services for NCC.
