Children and Family Support Lead
You will be involved in the day to day co-ordination and management of the Children's Centre Family Support team, within Gedling District. You will be an experienced practitioner who will be able to manage a team of Family Support Workers and be able to provide a high-quality service to children and families.
You will have a minimum of an NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject and hold 5 GCSEs including English. You will have a minimum of five years experience of working directly with children, young people and their families. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of supervision and case management or equivalent.
You will have excellent assessment skills and the ability to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining confidentiality. Excellent recording, report-writing and IT skills are essential requirements, along with an ability to work on your own initiative and as part of the whole team. You will also be enthusiastic, creative, and flexible with knowledge and experience of safeguarding children.
