Nottinghamshire County Council Landscape Services are pleased to be able to offer an apprenticeship in grounds maintenance, working predominantly in the Broxtowe area, although this may flex to work with other teams to give a larger overview of a range of landscape tasks

Duties are to include all aspects of Grounds Maintenance and summer and Winter sports pitch markings with the successful applicant receiving on the job and training from a recognised provider. The JD provided for this post is to show where the apprentice will learn key skills to be able to carry out the required tasks.

Working as part of a small team, directed by a Team Leader, you will service the needs of a group of customers in a geographical area.

Full uniform is provided, along with paid leave.            

A condition of this employment is the successful completion of the Horticulture and Landscape Operative Level 2. The duration of this Apprenticeship is 24 months.

In order to undertake this Apprenticeship you must have a Level 1 qualification in English and Maths and be capable of achieving Level 2 by the end of the Apprenticeship.
