This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Living Well Mansfield Team as a Community Care Officer!

The Living Well Mansfield Team is a multi-disciplinary service of Community Care Officers, Social Workers, Service Advisor, Occupational Therapists, Advanced Social Work Practitioners and Senior Occupational Therapists. We work with adults aged 18 to 65 years old who have physical, mental health and learning disabilities. We also work adults who experience severe multiple disadvantages such as homelessness and use drugs and alcohol. Our aim is to support local people to live independent, healthy lives in a place they call home. If you are an enthusiastic and highly motivated and creative person with a passion for strength-based practice we want you to join our team. 

You will need to have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in adult social care
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience of independently managing and prioritising tasks
  • Experience of working at pace and dealing with multiple demands
  • Evidence your ability to gather appropriate and proportionate information
  • Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills

In return for your commitment, we will provide a supportive team environment with access to developmental opportunities. You will receive regular supervision and be supported to assist you in the ongoing development of the role of Community Care Officer.   

The team is based at Meadow House in Mansfield. We promote a hybrid working policy however there is the expectation that you will be in the office at least 2 days a week. You will have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, unless disability precludes you from driving.
