Nottinghamshire County Council are looking to recruit an additional Cleaner to maintain the current high standards of cleaning within Sir Donald Bailey Academy, Bailey Road, Newark, Notts. NG24 4EP with immediate effect.

The post is for a 1.5 hour per week (18 minutes a day) Monday to Friday, Term Time Only with an additional 25 days deep clean done during the school closure periods.

The post is ideal for someone going to or coming from another workplace nearby. There may on occasions be the opportunity to do additional hours to cover sickness etc.You should be prepared to work between the hours of 6.00am and 8.00am or 3.30 pm and 6.00 pm  Monday – Friday. You will be required to clean on a designated area undertaking work which will include:- Vacuuming, Toilet Cleaning, Dusting, Window Cleaning, Sweeping, Mopping and Furniture Cleaning.

The post also requires that the operation of electrical cleaning machinery such as buffing machines etc. may be used periodically. Candidates will be expected to be self-motivated, a good team worker with an eye for detail and able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given on site.
