Senior Procurement Officer
We have a challenging but rewarding position for a highly professional Senior Procurement Officer. The post holder will be the lead on the procurement of services covering in the main Adult Social Care and Public Health Services. Based within the procurement team at County Hall, you will be responsible to manage the tendering process for key services.
You will be required to manage the complete procurement process ensuring timescales are met and the tender process in conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
This post will suit an experienced and professional individual used to working on complex procurement projects ideally in the Public Sector.
The candidate will be required to use the Councils etendering portal ProContract to run the tender projects and full training will be provided. Excellent IT skills will be required.
Please apply if you have the ability to concentrate on multiple complex projects at the same time, can think imaginatively on the best ways to procure services and have exceptional attention to detail.
You will be required to work a full day on Monday’s, but we can be flexible regarding times and days for the remaining hours.
