Team Manager - Trading Standards
We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic team players to join our dynamic Trading Standards Service to help shape and drive our service forward.

Nottinghamshire has a proud record in developing and advancing the careers of its Trading Standards Officers and Managers. As a large authority, we are well placed to provide a very broad range of experience coupled with great support and mentoring. We enjoy high levels of recognition locally, regionally, and nationally, and are proud to host the National Trading Standards Regional Investigations Team for the East Midlands.
We are at the forefront in developing the role played by Trading Standards, combining a range of innovative, problem solving approaches to protecting our communities, including major investigations and scams work, with a dedicated commercial team focused on providing support to a large and growing number of businesses, many of whom are in Primary Authority partnerships.
You will be one of 7 Team Managers in the Trading Standards and Communities Service that operate as one team, responsible for leading and driving forward all aspects of our service, both tactically and strategically. You will hold the DTS, DCATS or equivalent and will lead one of our 6 Trading Standards Teams.
You will have excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and will relish the idea of shaping the future of the service and helping us to grow in a fast-moving environment.
You may be asked to lead any one of our Trading Standards Teams, including the Regional Investigations Team. Although the vacancy has been created due to the impending retirement of the Regional Investigations Team Manager, we would like to hear from you if you have the skills to lead any one of our diverse teams.
