We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic team player to join our dynamic Communities Team to help shape and drive our service forward. If you are passionate about encouraging more people to become active citizens, taking responsibility for their own neighbourhoods and communities, supporting each other and helping make Nottinghamshire the welcoming, friendly place it is to live, work and relax we would like to hear from you.
Working as part of a small team you will support the delivery of the council’s community and voluntary sector work, and its community safety responsibilities and its ambitions for supporting communities. The team has significant roles to play in supporting the county council to tackle the many challenges and opportunities facing our communities. To do this we want to hear from you if you can demonstrate that you can:
- Bring innovative and creative ways of thinking and approaches to problem solving
- Work to ensure more effective ways of partnership working and influencing stakeholders
- To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication and liaison skills with the ability to develop and deliver on programmes of work as directed
