Early Years Teaching Assistant
Initially for one year and starts in September 2019.
A unique opportunity has arisen for an excellent Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team at Clarborough Primary School. We are seeking a highly-skilled, flexible and friendly person with strong, consistent behaviour management skills to fulfil a variety of roles. These include: being a key worker for a group of nursery children; doing small group and 1-to-1 interventions with pupils; supporting children through transition times from Nursery to Reception and Reception to Year 1; being a member of staff in our popular afternoon Childcare @ Clarborough where numbers fluctuate and additional adults are needed to ensure ratios are correct.
Although roles will be varied, the qualities required for each remain the same. We need an excellent person who has lots of initiative, is committed, hardworking and eager to develop personally, who will inspire, challenge and support all children, staff and parents. The successful candidate will need great interpersonal skills as they will be moving between different children, classes and phases. Experience is good but we are willing to train!
We strongly recommend that you arrange to come and visit our school before applying so you can see Team Clarborough at work – a whole morning session would be ideal. Telephone 01777 708 065 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to welcoming you!
