After School Club Assistant

Do you have a passion for children and an interest in providing interesting activities and supportive child care?  

We are looking for a caring and committed person to support the After School Club Lead for our brand new after school club. Working at Skegby Junior Academy, you will be part of a dedicated team of staff to provide excellent child care that builds on the inspiring educational environment. 

We’re looking for an After School Club Assistant who;

• is able to plan and provide a range of activities, with support, that will engage and inspire
• is able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
• Is able to work within a team to provide excellent care for all the children
• has an understanding of safeguarding and is able to use this to keep all children safe. 

Holding a current First Aid Certificate would be advantageous.

This role is for 5 hours, Monday to Friday and is required in term time only (38 weeks); therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
