Shardlow Primary School is a small school with big spirit and we a seeking a caring, hardworking and dedicated Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our fantastic school and academy trust.

The role of the Teaching and Learning Assistant is core to help us achieve this! This role will involve building positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider school community to support pupils in their learning as well as their social, emotional and health care needs.

The Teaching and Learning Assistant will work with the Headteacher, SENDCO and class teacher to provide support and challenge for pupils to secure their next steps in learning. They will work with individuals or groups in whole class situations and or out of class as required. Initially this post will involve working with pupils in our EYFS class but may be subject to change depending on the needs of the school.
