Sports Coach / Learning Mentor

Required for February 2020: dynamic, inspirational, hard-working Sports Coach/Learning Mentor.

The Post will complement and support the work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. This involves leading PE planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals,groups and whole classes (PPA cover) and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development. To support vulnerable pupils in groups and 1:1 during English and Maths sessions. 

The academy is a 3-18 all through school situated in a small village with a real community feel. This role provides an unusual and exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about the opportunity to impact on the lives of students from when they join the academy at the age of 3 in an all through 3-18 setting.
