The Governing Body of Jesse Gray Primary School invites applications from experienced, innovative and collaborative leaders for the role of Headteacher. The successful candidate will take over the leadership of the school in January 2020 when Sarah Law steps down following twenty years of exceptional leadership.

Jesse Gray is a highly successful state funded primary school for over 420 four to 11-year olds. It is located in West Bridgford in the Borough of Rushcliffe, just south of Nottingham city centre and the River Trent.

The school was recently included in the Sunday Times list of the top 250 primary schools in England (November 2018). Offering the highest standards of teaching and learning, we ensure pupils not only fulfil their academic potential but also develop an intellectual curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. We are a school where all pupils are encouraged to take full advantage of the extensive range of co-curricular activities; we cultivate an interest in the creative arts, music and sport as well as team working to provide each child with the very best start to their education.
