£26,999 - £31,371 per annum

The role will include supporting the establishment and maintenance of a data-base to record information about independent providers offering services that can be purchased using a direct payment or direct debit pre-payment card. This will include information about the volume, nature and quality of services being provided as well as identifying where there are gaps in provision. You will be quality monitoring services provided by the Council’s commissioned Direct Payment Support Service providers. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of a service user quality assurance feedback system and the interpretation of the quantitative and qualitative data that is gathered.

You will support service users and front line staff in the initial set up and on-going use of direct payments and direct debit pre-payment cards. This will include supporting staff, service users and prospective employees with issues relating to self-employment/employment status and may involve some educational and promotional awareness raising activity with front line social work teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for forward thinking self-starters to contribute to the development of a high quality and diverse market place across Nottinghamshire.

Ideally you will have experience of working with younger or older adults and you will have an understanding of the challenges faced by social care providers.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.

Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.
