The Children's Disability Service is an all-statutory Tier 4 fieldwork team that works with children and young people for the duration of their time with social care, and encompasses all areas of social work activity – requiring a broad skill-base. This role will involve you in working with some of the most vulnerable young people in Nottinghamshire. You will work closely with disability support services in delivering packages of support.  The service benefits from its own assessment team and 2 longer term teams – one covering the North of the county and one covering the South. This specific post is to manage the team south of the county.

As one of our managers, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your management skills in a challenging yet highly rewarding management role. Developing your team, you will support staff through your leadership, drive, and performance, and will have management responsibility of complex cases to ensure the highest standards are met. You will be required to have significant experience, evidence of your on-going continuous professional development and inspirational leadership qualities. You will be registered with the HCPC and have a CQSW/Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent).
