Care Worker
Based within Central Day Services one post 21 hours at Mansfield Day Service and one post 37 Hours at Ashfield Day Service.
Based within Mansfield Day Service you will provide a range of assistance and support in response to the day to day personal, physical and emotional needs of people attending our combined service bases. You will be enthusiastic and flexible and be able to work across all service user groups within a geographical area. You will be expected to contribute to running records on a day to day basis
You should hold a social care qualification (equivalent to NVQ 2) or be willing to work towards this and have the ability to offer person centred, high quality personal care and support. You must be willing to escort vehicles as required.
You must be able to work effectively, both as a team member and on your own initiative and put into practice the Council’s commitment to excellent customer care.
You will be expected to work in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to the County Councils Equal opportunities policy.
