Day Service Support Assistant
The 37-hour post requires you to be based at Gedling Day Service - Ley Street, Netherfield NG4 2PH, and the 32-hour post requires you to be based at Gedling Day Service - Howbeck Road, Gedling, Arnold NG5 8AA.
You will be required to hold a diploma in care Level 2 or equivalent and have at least one years’ experience of working within a care setting.
You will work alongside our Day Service Support Workers and support our Care Workers to carry out their daily tasks in order to meet our customer’s needs.
You will need to have good interpersonal skills in liaising with customers, parents and carers on a daily basis.
You will be expected to put into practise the Council’s commitment to excellent customer care, to work efficiently and effectively to improve our services and outcomes and treat people with dignity and respect.
