The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ a Saturday Cleaner at Southwell Library, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect.

You will be required to work between the hours of 6.00am to 8.30am on a Saturday morning. The post is paid on a Saturday enhanced rate of time & half, so total pay per week will be 3.75 hours pay.

There will on occasions be the opportunity to work additional hours, to cover lettings & morning hours covering annual leave.

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment, has an eye for detail and who can communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups. This post is one of lone working to which you will be expected to open , take of the alarm & clean the building. You will be expected to work using your own initiative and to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
