Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Service in conjunction with Greasley Beauvale Primary School are appointing a new Site Manager. Working a 37 hour week you will be required to clean and maintain the building and offer a range of services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.

Greasley Beauvale Primary School is situated in Newthorpe and currently has 364 pupils some of these coming from out of the catchment area. The purpose built school was constructed in 2011. It is larger than the average size; currently there are 14 classes over 2 levels. The school works in partnership with the Pre-School Learning Alliance who run the Greasley Beauvale Child Care services within the school. The school, is part of the Eastwood Family of schools.

You will be a key holder and will be expected to deliver the full range of, maintenance, janitorial and cleaning duties, with responsibility for securing the site.

IT skills would be beneficial as several school functions, such as heating and windows, operate through a computerised system. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.

You will need to be smart in appearance, wearing a provided uniform and need to be flexible in your approach to the role. We would want you to work positively with staff and parents and be a good team worker.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but ideally, we are looking for someone with interest and a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to the school.
