Senior Professional Practitioner Fair Access
The post of Senior Professional Practitioner has become available due to the promotion of the previous post holder. You will need to have significant experience of working within the regulatory environments of admissions or Fair Access and having direct contact with challenging and vulnerable pupils and their families.
This is a countywide post and involves working in partnership with school leaders and a range of agencies who support children. A good knowledge of legislation and processes for supporting statutory age pupils with SEND and of the legislation and processes that relate to elective home education. You will be required to make home visits and to manage a caseload of pupils who will need you to commission and monitor their learning in alternative education provision settings.
