Catering and Facilities Management are looking for 2 enthusiastic individuals to join us on a new and exciting two year project. We have joined forces with Public Health colleagues in Nottinghamshire County Council to promote both Universal Free School Meals and Free School Meals across our school estate. You will become ‘our frontline’ in encouraging parents and schools to fully embrace these. You will also become part of the team that deliver our popular food forums. These engage our students as Food Ambassadors for their schools and help decide the future menu choices. We will also look to you to develop nutritional awareness in both children and parents; most importantly, the benefits it can bring.

How will I do that…?

Don’t worry, we are currently developing a range of materials for you to use  in getting the message across. We will also provide you with support and encouragement. You will join an expanding Business Services unit within Catering and Facilities Management dedicated to driving the business forward.

Whilst we would prefer that you came Basic Food Hygiene certification; if you don’t, and you are our perfect fit, then don’t worry,  we will get you on the course.

The most valuable assets you can bring are a love of food, in and out of schools, and most importantly, the ability to engage people with bags of enthusiasm and energy.”
