Required within the Democratic Services team to work Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9.30am- 2.30pm.

You will be:

  • required to provide assistance and cover as required to the PA to Committee Chairmen to help deliver proactive and comprehensive business support to the Chairmen of various Council Committees.
  • responsible for the provision of business support to backbench members of the Council’s ruling group at the busiest times of the day.
  • experienced in dealing with written, telephone and email correspondence, diary management, maintaining effective filing systems and providing basic ICT advice and support to others, within a busy working environment
  • capable of working with minimal supervision, prioritising your workload effectively and handling politically sensitive and confidential information in a secure and legally compliant manner.
