Following the very positive Ofsted Focused Visit to the MASH in January 2019, Nottinghamshire County Council’s Children’s Services are currently recruiting Team Managers for the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

The MASH is the first point of contact for all potential safeguarding concerns in relation to children and adults. Representatives from Children’s and Adult's Social Care; Nottinghamshire Police; Nottinghamshire Probation; the Health Partnership Group; Early Help Services; Trading Standards and an Education Adviser are all based in the same building. Partners work together to identify and assess risk to children and by sharing information.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated Team Managers to Children’s Social Care in the MASH. You will need to have a thorough working knowledge of relevant legislation and practice that underpins Child Protection work.

You will need to have leadership skills as you will manage a team of qualified social workers and support staff in a multiagency setting to ensure that the statutory needs of children for support and protection are met through the delivery of high quality services. So if you’d like to be part of our future workforce, and build your career with us, we’d like to hear from you!

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.

Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.

Therefore, the County Council encourages applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
