The Early Childhood Services team are looking to recruit a Project Officer to work as part of a county wide team to fulfil Nottinghamshire County Council's duties for the provision and sufficiency of Early Years provision. 

The successful post holder will work across Nottinghamshire but with particular responsibility for the  Early Years provision in the South of the County. The post holder will contribute to the production of the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment, and lead on increasing the establishment of new childcare provision and creation of additional new childcare places where required. 

They will provide relevant and timely advice, guidance and information to the Early Years Sector including Schools and the Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) sector through a range of communication routes including the Nottinghamshire Early Years portal and provider networks.  In addition, the post holder will work with local Early Years providers to fulfil the statutory duty to improve the take up of free early years provision for 2, 3 and 4 year olds in both the PVI sector and schools.
