Nottinghamshire County Council's Adult Social Care Service Director support team are looking for an experienced Business Support Administrator to help them develop a communications system to collate, allocate and monitor responses to Members (Councillors), MP and other queries and enquiries received both in writing and over the phone.

The specific skills required for this role will involve not only a professional and confidential approach to the work but also a sharp eye for detail, a confident manner in communicating with senior members of the council and an ability to learn quickly as this is a fast-paced role. Significant experience in working to a number of conflicting demands and an ability to manage your own workloads within strict timelines will be essential and your confident nature in driving results will enable your success in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing systems and processes which will support the work of the Adult Social Care Senior Leadership team enabling smooth and effective responses to queries and thus supporting effective service delivery to the people of Nottinghamshire. Experience of working with spreadsheets and databases at a high level, excellent written communications and an ability to quality assure documents will be part of your day to day skillset and you will also be able to demonstrate a calm approach and a willingness to be flexible in your work. Ideally you will have worked to a number of professional teams or provided PA support to senior colleagues and be enthusiastic about developing not only services to senior members of the authority but also your own personal development
