Specialist Service Support Worker

Space Inclusive is an East Midlands based social enterprise that is committed to improving the lives and prospects of people with learning disabilities and learning difficulties by offering appropriate and aspirational opportunities. We currently support around 160 people across 5 sites in Nottinghamshire. We provide person-centred programmes for young adults with learning disabilities aged 18+ who have a personal budget. We offer practical real-life based activities that will support them in their transition from school or college into a sustainable adult life. 

We are looking to appoint a full-time Support Worker (37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays) within our specialist service working with people with complex needs. 

This is an intensive support post involving 1:1 working with some clients. You will therefore have extensive experience of working with people on the autistic spectrum, people with challenging behaviours and experience of supporting people with some level of physical disability. The successful candidate will be required to deliver some personal care to clients. 

The post-holder will have regular support and supervision, good rates of pay and enhanced workplace pension as well as increasing holiday allowance in line with years’ service.
